Liam Quinn of the Beat Boutique Soul Club (Manchester) dusts of his Northern Soul collection and spins some classic tracks in this hour long guest mix. We hope this will be the first in what is many guest mixes for our tuktuk sounds series; we have already got some other cracking guests lined up. For now though… where did we put that talcum powder?
Here’s what Liam had to say…
“It was a pleasure to be asked to do a northern soul mix for the wonderful gents outfitters, tuktuk. I’ve run ‘The Beat Boutique’ Soul Club in Manchester for over 4 years now which is held bi-monthly at the Soup Kitchen in the heart of the Northern Quarter on the last Saturday of every month. The 2 floored venue is incredible, upstairs playing Soul n’ Reggae and Disco n’ Boogie in the Basement, it’s one big Party til the early hours. I’m honored that people listen to the mixes and if your ever in Manchester do pop along to the Beat Boutique or one of the parties we’re holding in the City”.
